The Village of Howard hosts a family friendly Community Fireworks Show each year on the Friday before the Fourth of July. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Village of Howard Community Fireworks Show has been rescheduled to Sunday, Sept. 6. Family friendly fun -- including live music, a food truck rally, and children's activities -- will run from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the Village Center, and a professional fireworks display will be launched from Meadowbrook Park at 8 p.m. The fireworks are clearly visible from the Village Center and all surrounding areas, so bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for the show!
The Village of Howard recognizes the challenges of hosting this event during the COVID-19 pandemic and is dedicated to the safety of our guests, entertainers, and vendors. Accordingly, the the 2020 Howard Community Fireworks Show will look and operate substantially differently than previous years. We strongly encourage everyone to wear masks, bring their own chairs, and practice social distancing as they wait in food and beverage lines, participate in activities, and listen to the band.
